MACRO Points To 2D
The functionality of this macro is based on three tools which aim to generate tables that contain 3D coordinates of points in any coordinate system (with the possibility of insertion in 2D drawing) and the presentation of the position of these points in selected views. Macro is extended with a feature to rename the selected points as defined by the user. It is worth noting that in CATIA up to version V5R19 tools that allow an automatic execution of any of these operations were not available.
About the service
Macro application and capabilities:
- exchange of data between objects of 2D and 3D environment,
- generating table/list of a large group of elements containing specific data,
- illustrative description of the 3D model.

- time saving – export of selected values and transfer of data between selected CATIA modules occur automatically,
