MACRO Midusrfaces
The purpose of this macro is a search in the structure for parts (*.CATPart) that are elements of the assembly (*. CATProduct) of pre-prepared midsurfaces and export them as *.igs. These files are necessary to perform calculations using FEM. There will be added information to the files name, such as: material used, material thickness, weight.
About the service
Macro application and capabilities:
- data preparation for CAE and CAM engineers,
- export of work results according to accepted standards,
- exchange of data between CATIA and external applications by using universal data formats (*. igs, *. stp, *. stl),
- automatic generating summaries and reference lists of materials, containing basic information (weight, material, thickness, volume, etc.).
