CATIA libraries and templates are the most effective way to speed up the design with the use of standard parts or elements of similar geometry with different dimensions (scale).
About the service
Due to the fact that the preparation of libraries and templates in the initial phase may require a lot of time, which very often becomes the reason for the resignation of this solutions, we offer our customers two alternative ways:
- using proven, ready-made templates and library of parts included in our offer,
- using partially editable templates and libraries that are easy to upgrade on your own.
The elements contained in the library can be divided into several groups:
- standard parts such as: screws, nuts, bolts, seals, etc.,
- elements that are frequent in the assembly, custom elements or supplied by subcontractors, differing only in dimensions (scale), e.g. gears, shafts, clutches, etc.,
- elements produced by the customer, gathered in the library catalog in the form of finished products for use in a 3D environment in CATIA format or universal formats such as: *. igs, *. stp, *. stl etc.
- 2D elements that are frequent in the manufacturing and GA drawing such as: names, symbols, tables, comments, etc.
Customers who are just starting to work with libraries and templates, based on our own experience, we offer assistance in choosing the best solution. Regardless of your choice we always prepare the product for further work in close collaboration with the customer according to their needs and requirements.
